Get your day off to the right start with your own MORNING MEETING. No shouting; no throwing of chairs; no name calling; no finger pointing.
Just a Sales Tip of the Day, a daily blast of music and some attitude for your enjoyment! M-F. No weekends, and I don’t do roomfill…
REMEMBER: Often, when dealing with a couple during the sales presentation, one of them will be more ‘in-to-it’ than the other and the one that is not ‘there’ is the person who is obviously going to be the deal maker or breaker!
Sometimes it is difficult to determine who is ‘in’ and who is ‘out’, but a great way to find out is to ask a question (at the appropriate time) by turning to (e.g.) ‘Bill’ and say: “Bill, if it was, say, your anniversary and ‘Mary’ surprised you with a two-week vacation plan for your anniversary gift that is exactly like the one you’re considering today, would you be pleased?“
Now ‘Bill’ is on the hot-seat. This is the time to remain silent and let ‘Bill’ do the talking and watch for the reaction from ‘Mary’, and once ‘Bill’ is done you can get ‘Mary’ involved by asking her to react to what ‘Bill’ said or by asking her the same question.
The end result is that you’ll create an opportunity for them to have a dialog in front of you, sharing their (most often) true feelings with one another about the ‘plan’, vacationing (uses), etc. and when that happens you’ll be laughing all the way to the bank!
