REMEMBER: With tourism (travel) being one of the largest industries in the world, it could be argued and maybe even accepted as a universal truth that at the heart of most people is a deep rooted desire to be ‘globe-trotters’!
Putting it another way, when people are given the opportunity to escape their reality and journey to another ‘world’ they’ll likely jump at the chance if that adventure fulfills their personal wants, desires, needs and dreams.
If you don’t believe it or just want to ‘test’ a prospect, then just ask a sales guest, for example: “If I were to give you, and of course I won’t, but if I gave you $100,000 (cash) today with the provision the money could only go towards the travel and vacation adventure of your life, what would that be? (And then, as always, remain silent while they tell ‘all’).
There is only so much time a Pro has during the sales presentation to get off the ownership aspect and get on with the business of vacationing and travel adventures, and the sooner that transformation occurs the faster the sales guests will begin visualizing themselves escaping their day to day routine (rut) and the more the Pro will laugh all the way to the bank!
