Parkside Victoria Resort & Spa Welcomes Caffe Fantastico
VICTORIA, BC (June 1, 2010) — Parkside Victoria Resort & Spa, Victoria’s newest resort hotel, is pleased to announce the addition of one of the cornerstones of the city’s much-loved coffee shop culture, Caffe Fantastico, to its portfolio of world-class resort amenities.
Ryan & Kristy Taylor, operators of Caffe Fantastico, have purchased both of the retail spaces adjacent to the lobby in the Fairfield Tower at Parkside Victoria Resort & Spa.
Caffe Fantastico, a specialty coffee micro roastery with three Victoria locations, plans to continue with the success of its other local stores through its highly anticipated new location at Parkside. Says operator Ryan Taylor, “We will be keeping in line with our simple product offering that is unbeatable in its quality and local focus. With the unique needs of Parkside, we will go more upscale, and branch out product lines to meet the varied desires of the guests.”
Caffe Fantastico at Parkside will provide all of its regular cafe offerings including espresso beverages, specialty drip coffees, teas, juices and other beverages, fresh roasted coffee beans, pastries, other baked goods, savoury items and coffee accessories such as mugs, brewers, grinders and t-shirts.
Caffe Fantastico at Parkside will also feature a breakfast and lunch menu, plus small plates for light meals at any time of the day. The Taylors will pursue a food primary license to be able to offer wines and ales. Caffe Fantastico at Parkside will also offer gourmet ice cream and chocolate in addition to local specialty and featured items such as gourmet snacks, grocery items, and organic products.
