LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA (June 2, 2010) – Trading Places International hosted their first Virtual Cruise Night on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 to introduce Royal Caribbean’s incredible new ship, the Oasis of the Seas.
The Virtual Cruise Night was held similar to an online webinar format, where those who registered enjoyed an exciting new virtual experience. Participants were able to take a virtual tour of the Oasis of the Seas, Royal Caribbean International’s largest, most innovative and most imaginative ship to-date, all from the comfort of their home or office computer.
Lori Goldspiel, Royal Caribbean Western Regional Sales Manager, guided participants through a tour of the Oasis, including the seven distinct on-board neighborhoods and its endless amenities, activities, and entertainment options. In addition to the Oasis tour, the webinar included trivia questions with Royal Caribbean logo prizes, a Q&A session, and two fabulous TPI 7-Night condo vacation giveaways.
“It was very informative – an excellent presentation,” said Kathy Hager, Trading Places Travel department manager and Elite Cruise Counselor. “We are responding to inquiries about the Oasis and other Royal Caribbean ships, and making reservations with the best deals for each customer. We are pleased that so many people see the value of using a Certified Cruise Consultant who gives a personal touch.”
Royal Caribbean also announced new cruise specials available only through Trading Places Travel. Promotions include shipboard credit, onboard coupon booklets, and a complimentary bottle of wine.
“We were very satisfied with the response for our first Virtual Cruise Night,” said Alex Vigil, Director of Digital Marketing for Trading Places International. “With the success of this webinar, we hope to have more virtual events in the future.”
