July 2, 2010 — I, for one, am fed up reading ‘news’ stories that universally state things like “Timeshare sales have a bad reputation for high-pressure tactics” and from this day forward I’ve decided to start flaming every ‘reporter’ I can when they include that garbage (lie) slamming our industry.
So let’s set the record straight here now and I encourage everyone who reads this rant to do as I am and ‘flame’ these keyboard punching dweebs who are too lethargic to look into the real story.
And that story is that the sales Pros in our industry, some of the best in the world I might add, paint the travel and vacationing lifestyle-choice picture and guess what? Most of these prospects want what they’ve previewed!
Of course many of these ‘prospects’ outright lie, and that comes out on the ‘tables’ when they’re asked to step up and purchase something ‘today’ that they have clearly stated they ‘like-it’, will ‘use-it and ‘want-it’!
And who, other than the likes of a Ted Kaczynski, wouldn’t want a lifetime of vacations and traveling the world over with friends and loved ones enjoying fun, exciting but relaxing holiday time including, as often as possible, getting away from their daily ruts.
That is the true story and the so-called high-pressure comes from the sales guests and not the reps, because now these prospects have to back their assertions up with money and we all know that money talks and BS…
Of course that doesn’t apply to most who become ‘owners’. But many of the whiners who’ve come to the presentation, made the grave mistake of matching ‘wits’ with a Timeshare Sales Pro and then puked all over the sales centers, then go home and cry to anyone who will listen– which is often these so called ‘reporters’.
So I urge the thousands who read ‘Inside The Gate’ every week to join me and let’s start setting the record straight with these ‘reporters’ once and for all and bring these enablers to their bony little whimpering knees!
