Maria Cárdenas Joins The Alderwood Group
Palm Springs, CA (July 27, 2010) – The Alderwood Group announced today Maria Cárdenas has joined Alderwood Resort Management as the Association Services Manager for the Desert Region. “We are thrilled to have Maria on board and are confident she can build our business interests in the Palm Springs region,” says Tom Johnson, President and CEO of The Alderwood Group.
Cárdenas has more than 20 years experience in community association management, most recently as Portfolio Association Manager for Sentry Management, Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina. In her new capacity, Cárdenas will be responsible for managing Alderwood’s association partnerships as well as developing new business affiliations. “I am excited to join such a dynamic team; the Desert communities present an interesting mix of challenges,” says Cárdenas.
Alderwood Resort Management has had a presence in the Desert region since September 2009. “We are steadily building a solid reputation based on our customized approach, our understanding of the economics impacting resort communities and our unique position to seamlessly blend hospitality management and association administration,” says Johnson.
