REMEMBER: In some parts of the TS universe the ‘high-season’ is ending in a few weeks, in other parts of the world ‘the-season’ is right around the corner. All over the planet industry Pros are sitting around their favorite watering holes discussing how good this ‘season’ was or how good the upcoming ‘season’ will (or will not) be!
For good reasons sales people should embrace ‘high-season’ prospects, yet at the same time they should avoid the ‘We’ll make a killing when the season gets here’ mentality because ‘seasons’ come and go, and they can be less than anticipated in any given year depending on economic and/or political events, etc.
Here’s the simple truth. Get ‘season’ thinking out of your mind because the reality is that every hand you shake, every prospect you meet, every work day of the year, is in fact the only ‘high-season’ you can depend on. It is that ‘season’ where the home run is continually hit out of the ball park, and by thinking in this manner the savvy TS Pro will, all year long, laugh all the way to the bank!
