REMEMBER: The popular TV Game show “Deal Or No Deal”, hosted in the USA by Howie Mandel, is aired in about 80 nations and although various versions, hosts, formats, languages and rules apply the underlying theme and popularity of the game is universally based, in part, on the contestants’ (and audience’s) greed.
The lesson here is that it really never matters if a sales guest or their ancestors hail from (e.g.) Missouri, India, Germany, Asia, Quebec, East L.A. or from under that proverbial rock, etc., because as the game show clearly demonstrates everyone has varying degrees of greed and discovering these personal traits of each sales guest attending a timeshare sales presentation is paramount to a successful outcome.
Greed alone however will never make any deal happen because without the rep first establishing an unwavering trust relationship with a sales guest the prospect’s wants, needs and desires will remain well protected from a ‘Deal’ happening– but not, despite the popular belief held by many, because of some philosophical, cultural, geographical, political or religious way of life.
Once trust is established with each prospect and then their particular travel and vacationing wants, needs, desires and lifestyle have been fully disclosed, explored and incorporated into the presentation, the more likely there will be a ‘Deal’ Vs a ‘No Deal’.
It is a savvy TS Pro indeed who eliminates certain biases from their thoughts and instead recognizes some basic traits (like greed) that all sales guests have in common. By doing so that Pro will be laughing all the way to the bank.
