Global hospitality and vacation ownership company engages destination lodging veteran to lead daily resort operations throughout North America and Caribbean
Las Vegas, NV ( October 1, 2010) — DIAMOND RESORTS INTERNATIONAL® (Diamond), a global leader in the hospitality and vacation ownership industries, today announced that Dennis Nau will join the company effective October 4, 2010, as Senior Vice President, Resort Operations for its North America and Caribbean locations.
Mr. Nau brings 25 years of global operational lodging experience having recently held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Hotel Operations for Norwegian Cruise Lines. Most notably, Nau has built a strong operational lodging career with Marriott International where he has held a variety of positions including Vice President Global Brand Management for the JW Marriott and Nickelodeon Resorts brands; General Manager in high traffic, high occupancy destination resorts such as the New York Marriott East Side and Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa and Hotel Manager at the New York Marriott Marquis. In addition to North America, Caribbean and Hawaii destination operations, Dennis Nau has extensive operational experience in the UK, Ireland, Africa and Middle East markets where he was responsible for 55 open and operating hotels including five hotel brands where he held the positions of Area General Manager for Marriott’s Renaissance Hotels UK and Regional Vice President, Operations, Marriott International.
