REMEMBER: You may believe, have been told or have read that there is a sale made every time and that rejection is part of the sales ‘game’. But the fact of the matter is both are flat out wrong and believing otherwise, over time, creates an unwarranted sense of sales insecurity!
At the end of the day, as long as the rep has provided a thorough, complete, upbeat and professional sales presentation following the proven successful sales methods and techniques (each step along the way) including developing the prospect’s trust and firmly establishing ‘like’ and use’, then it ALL essentially boils down (with proper closing skills) to the sales guest’s ‘affordability’ factor (and/or the lack thereof).
It is indeed the savvy TS Pro who ignores such antiquated sales ‘theories’ as a ‘sale is made every time’ and that ‘rejection’ garbage and instead constantly hones their sales and closing skills. By improving those talents and being professional and business-like at all time they will continue to laugh all the way to the bank.
