Fort Myers, FL (October 7, 2010 — Keith Trowbridge, Ph.D., president of Executive Quest, Inc., www.execq.com, recently returned from a fractional management conference in Miami conducted by a U.K. company called Fractional Life. Fractional Life’s debut conference in America was designed to provide an insight into the industry’s future – and delegates were united in their agreement that the symposium went beyond its pledge and exceeded every expectation.
From buyers’ panels – an industry first – to business card swap shops and rum tastings, Fractional Summit USA delivered on its promise to illuminate and excite delegates with the potential of fractional real estate development.
More than 170 delegates from the US, the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe enjoyed a comprehensive seminar program and some highly enjoyable – and effective – networking sessions.
The seminar program saw a host of top industry professionals sharing their knowledge and experience. Day one comprised of the Fractional 101 sessions – a comprehensive guide to the fundamentals of fractional development, including talks on definition, feasibility, finance, legals, sales and marketing, usage programs, exchange and rentals.
Day two touched on exchange and rental programs, destination clubs and marketing among other topics. It also included an industry first – a buyers’ panel, allowing delegates to interact with buyers of fractional real estate and destination club members.
Delegates were united in their praise of the event. Maurice Aronow, of The Palmyra Resort and Spa, said: “The conference was outstanding value for my time.” Matt Condon, Signature Yacht Shares, added: “[This was] an excellent symposium – this meeting was an ‘oasis in the desert’ for me. I was delighted to hear from the world’s premier fractional experts.”
Fractional Life founder Piers Brown said: “We are delighted with the success of our first US conference and would like to thank all our delegates, sponsors and speakers for making it happen.
“The feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive, and we have already had companies who adopted a ‘wait and see’ approach to this year’s conference wanting to sponsor next year’s.”
Keith is looking forward to attending next year’s conference. www.execq.com
