REMEMBER: Timeshare owners are truly a unique group of travelers. They are upscale vacationers, they are risk takers, they vacation longer, they think ‘outside-the-box’ and barring a full blown worldwide disaster these brave souls will travel when and where they want and with a lead, follow or get out of the way attitude.
As an example, in case you didn’t know, the year following 9/11 it was Timeshare Owners who continued to board those Jets and fly off to paradise (Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, etc.) and TS resorts in many locations had much higher occupancy rates than ‘hotels’ as many other travelers refused to travel by air at all…
Letting each prospect know that as an owner, along with all other great features and benefits, they, too, will belong to a very unique group of globe trotters isn’t a bad idea and you can tell ’em’, unequivocally, that Timeshare owners are travelers and everyone else is just a tourist!
And while you’re at it, especially with sales guests who are in that 35-45 age bracket, let them know that timeshare owners started seeing the benefits and features of our travel system long before ‘they’ were born. By sharing the big picture of real life owners with sales guests, the savvy TS Pro will laugh all the way to the bank.
