REMEMBER: It is that time of year again when the retail stores are beginning to advertise ‘Black Friday’ (the semi-official kick off to the Holiday Shopping Season) specials and you only need turn on the TV, listen to the radio or read print and online ads to learn about all those discounts and savings.
And do the consumers believe they’re going to save some ‘big-bucks’ by participating in those 6-12-24-36 or 48-hour (only) sales?
You can bet your bottom dollar they do and if you’re not yet a believer then get up this coming ‘Black-Friday’ morning, tune in the TV news and watch a ‘live’ feed from the local (e.g.) WalMart with, God Bless ’em all, consumers who’ve waited for hours to rush through the doors and snag those limited ‘time’ (only) or ‘while supplies’ last bargains…
The moral to the story is if you’re on the front end it is never a bad idea to drop a hint that from time to time the developer has been known to offer some incredible discounts.
And if you’re on the back end and set up the drop properly your prospect will grab it like a Sears customer snagging a 42 inch flat screen HD TV for $395 (while supplies last) and toss it in their cart without so much as blinking an eye as they rush to the checkout stand like a child who just got away with 2 5-Lb bags of candy (for the price of one).
Either way (front or back end) it is the savvy Timeshare Pro who knows and understands consumer buying habits and incorporates those traits in the presentation who’ll laugh all the way to the bank.
