REMEMBER: In every sales center worldwide there is no shortage of reps who are ‘shooting from the hip’ when it comes to their selling and closing techniques. Many others play the Vanna White (‘spin-to-win’) game and because they make ‘deals’ they often fart and prance around like they are better than they actually are!
If a rep wants to make the really BIG bucks in the ‘biz’, doing so requires not only ‘line’ experience and confidence but a constant and deliberate decision-making process mastering a mixture of travel knowledge and sales psychology as well as being consumer-centric.
In professional selling there is no such thing as rejection, either, because if a prospect has received an informative, upbeat and professional sales presentation and each and every step of the process as been adhered to like a science project) then there are only two possible outcomes.
One (in the real world) being that the prospect simply can’t afford to be an owner and two, they buy– and they will always do so more often from a TS sales professional than from the ‘hip-shooting’ crowd.
By becoming a dedicated TS sales professional and constantly improving your selling, closing and listening skills as well as focusing on the ‘prospects’ needs, wants, uses, likes and dislikes, etc., you will be the savvy TS Pro who will laugh all the way to the bank!
