Dog attack — Lower Duck Pond, Lithia Park, Ashland (Orgeon). Police responded to a report of two dogs running loose and attacking ducks at about 11:20 a.m. Sunday.
The officer cited a resident for the loose dogs. The duck refused medical treatment and left the area, according to police records.
A woman reported Thursday that someone broke into her home on the 1200 blok of Sumner Street and switched hardware in her computer with identical hardware that doesn’t work. There are no leads.
A deputy responded to a report of a vehicle stopping at mail boxes. It was the mailman.
Wal-Mart: Police receive a report of a newborn infant found in a trash can. Upon investigation, officers discover it was only a burrito.
Assault: 2:30 p.m., 1500 block of Auburn Way North. Two students of unspecified gender told police they were assaulted in some way on their way home from an unspecified school by an unspecified number of assailants, perhaps sustaining unspecified injuries or none at all, police didn’t say.
