REMEMBER: If you have ever been to a Church service on a Sunday, or go every week, you’ve undoubtedly noticed that there is always a ‘program’ detailing what will transpire that particular day (along with a couple other announcements, too).
In our business, too, and not to be confused w/breaking the pact, it is always a wise move to verbally share the days ‘program’ with each prospect prior to ‘pitching’ because they do like to know exactly what is in store. When they know that, they will become even more ‘comfy’ and open to the actual presentation.
After the meet/greet, warm-up, survey and breaking the pact a good way to do so is to simply and honestly explain the process.
That first and foremost you are not going to try and sell anything.
That you’re just sharing information w/them that hundreds/thousands/millions of others have previewed.
That today you’ll first explain the basic program and answer any questions.
That you’ll then take them to the accommodations so that they’ll know exactly what the vacationing lifestyle will provide.
That afterwards you’ll come back and share the exchange system information and how they will enjoy similar accommodations the world over.
And that after you’ve answered all their questions to their satisfaction you have some wonderful gifts to thank them for their time…
However you word this, the savvy TS Pro who lays out each step in advance of the sale process and eliminates those scary ‘unknowns’ and/or ‘what’s next’ from the sales guest’s mind will have 100% of their attention and by doing so will laugh all the way to the bank!
