Get your day off to the right start with your own MORNING MEETING. A Sales Tip of the Day and a daily blast of music for your enjoyment! Published Monday thru Friday.
REMEMBER: I don’t know about everyone else but when I’m in a retail store, on a car lot kicking tires or just about anywhere else ‘goods’ and/or ‘services’ are being sold, including at a travel agency, etc., and I see a bright sign announcing a ‘Clearance and/or ‘Free’, “60% Off’, etc. I will almost always stop and have a look-see!
And why not? Who among us doesn’t want to save some dollars here and there? The fact of the matter is that from time to time damn near every business in the world will offer or have a super sale, a buy one get one free deal, and so on.
As we’ve discussed previously it is never a bad idea to let the sales guest know during the presentation that once in a while the developer has offered some incredible specials, etc. But when it actually comes time to introduce what our ‘biz’ calls the old ‘drop’ (this is for you closers) it is often done in a manner that is about as unbelievable as suggesting that there is no such thing as a corrupt politician in the United States (and everywhere else).
So whether you are a front end rep, the closer or a power-house money-making F/B PRO just remember that the more seeds you plant during the presentation about potential ‘specials’ and the more convincing you are when you introduce the ‘drop’ and actually justify that ‘deal’ the more sales everyone will write and laugh all the way to the bank.
