REMEMBER: Any TS rep seeking to achieve their maximum sales performance and income can always improve what they do. One way is to analyze whether they are considering all possible avenues to increase their sales, such as looking back over the time they’ve been selling timeshares and counting up all the personal referral business that has come their way.
Too many reps however have never had a referral and if they’ve been in the business for longer than two years working the ‘tables’ they are passing up a lot of income, including opportunities to upgrade existing clients (owners).
One way to get referral business (and upgrade a client) is to have a personal website, have that URL (web address) printed on a special (separate) business card and give that out to clients and prospects who didn’t ‘buy’ today and keep in touch…
The rep can even have a ‘blog’ and include some social networking tools as well. It is indeed the savvy TS Pro who embraces the ‘Internet’ to their advantage and keeps in touch with clients and highly probable future owners who’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.
