Miami, FL (January 13, 2011) –- Timeshare software technology leader SPI Software announced last week their software has been purchased by the largest provider of ski experiences in Scandinavia, SkiStar AB.
“SkiStar is a Swedish company that is well-known in Europe as the leading developer percent of alpine skiing facilities in Scandinavia,” says SPI VP of Sales Matt Brosious. “They are a publicly-traded group providing the total alpine experience, from timeshare accommodations to ski resorts, instruction, equipment rental and more.”
The director of vacation ownership operations for SkiStar, Tommy Abrahamsson, says, “SPI Software will be used to manage our timeshare sales and resort operations. It is a good fit for us in that we can interface the operations for all of current properties and easily add additional resorts in the future. The quality and ease-of-use of the software is superior.”
SkiStar operates five mountain destinations: Sälen, Åre and Vemdalen in Sweden and Trysil and Hemsedal in Norway.
