REMEMBER: The real marketing geniuses in the world of commerce know a lot about consumer (habits, needs, wants and desires) and one of those ‘things’ they use to their benefit is that mindset in all of us– which you could argue dates back to the Lower Paleolithic (stone age) and beyond– when ‘uncertainty’ (about everything!) was the order of the day.
And even if you don’t want to go back that far and instead believe our ancestors lived nice and comfy with dinosaurs just a few thousand years ago, the fact of the matter, in either case, is that it has been ingrained in our ‘beings’ to snatch up what we want and/or believe we need and to do so on-the-spot, so to speak.
Understanding that, from the moment the timeshare rep meets the sales guest, is crucial to making more sales. By the end of the presentation if the prospect isn’t jumping down off his/her Tyrannosaurus, clubbing the rep over the head and taking what they want, then it is likely the rep performed their mission in a less than stellar manner.
Any timeshare rep looking for ways to create that type of reaction (aka ‘demand’) from their sales guests would be well served to read other ‘MM’s’ herein and know that the information is timeshare specific and based on (literally) millions and millions of dollars in ‘real-world’ (past and current) sales. Using that wealth of information is yet another way for a savvy Timeshare Pro to laugh all the way to the bank.
