Club Intrawest, a private vacation club with locations across Canada, the United States and Mexico and exclusively managed by Intrawest Resort Club Group (IRCG), was established in 1994; since opening its first location in Whistler, B.C., people from 48 countries have joined.
“Whistler is still our most profitable lead and tour generating locale,” says Scott, who started in the Club’s call center in 2000 and has risen through the ranks to oversee all sales and marketing operations.
Club Intrawest reported strong sales in 2010 with low marketing costs and improved margins despite the struggling economy. “We tightened up our marketing outlets and concentrated primarily on Whistler this year. With that location and a 40% growth in the sector of existing Members adding more Resort Points, we were able to stay ahead of the curve,” reports Scott.
Club Intrawest says that the strong sales to Members shows the highest volume of Members who increased their Resort Points in the 15 year history of the Club.
