REMEMBER: As serious as we are here in Morning Meeting I would be remiss if I didn’t remind you all this Memorial Weekend that a ‘LOT’ of people over the years sacrificed it all so that we can live the ‘good life’! (aka: Lest We Forget).
In the USA this is the ‘kick-off’ to the summer vacation season. In sales centers all across N. America US citizens will be attending a sales presentation and along with asking each sales guest how their ‘Memorial’ weekend is going it is not a bad idea to also remind them that this weekend means a lot more than just Bar-B-Q’s.
A great way for the timeshare rep to bring up the topic of Memorial Day Weekend is to simply ask each sales guest if they’re having a good time and if they have anyone in their family (or neighbors) who are wearing or have worn the ‘uniform’.
Then (regardless of their answer) that is the perfect time to follow up with how fortunate we all are that ‘citizen-soldiers’ have (and do) served in Peace and War. If the rep is sincere and briefly shares their perspective with the sales guests and then allows them to return in kind, etc., that is a sure fire way to bond this weekend, make a friend and by doing so the savvy Timeshare Pro will laugh all the way to the bank.
