TODAY IS:

Reefer Madness

Get your day off to the right start with your own MORNING MEETING. Timeshare Sales Tip of the Day and a daily blast of music for your enjoyment! Published Monday thru Friday.

REMEMBER: No, not ‘that’ reefer, the other one (aka-referral) LOL!

Perhaps the catchy little title (regarding one funny USA propaganda movie from 1936) got your attention and although today’s tip has nothing to do with that movie we will look at how simple it is to ’self-gen’ online and earn more commissions.

Simply stated, and keeping in mind that a picture is worth a thousand words, every timeshare rep should have their own ’stand-alone’ website that has photographs showing-off their resort, the accommodations, etc., regardless of what ‘website’ the developer may (or may not) have.

Then, that website address (URL) needs to be clearly printed on the rep’s (classy) business cards that they’ll have printed AND the rep should also have a special cphone number and have that printed on the card, too, (and published on the website) so that the rep’s ‘owners’ have the ability to ‘keep in touch’ (an idea most reps don’t like).

After each sales presentation, whether a prospect has purchased or not, the rep should give every sales guest several (5, 10 or whatever #) of their high quality business cards and ask them to ‘keep-in-touch’ and to ’share’ the good news with their friends, relatives, co-workers, business associates, etc.

This technique can be as complicated as a rep wants to make it or it can be as simple as merely setting up a basic website and checking the ’site’ e-mail account once a day for any messages. But regardless, the online universe is an effective way to keep in touch and also lets the rep’s owners (and former prospects) shake the bushes and do a little (free) leg work for the rep.

A really sharp rep, a money motivated one, would of course also get involved with social networking, etc. and promote their ’site’. But at the end of the day having a stand-alone website in this era is not a bad idea. It will work for the rep 24/7/365 and that will be another one of those baby steps that will allow the savvy Timeshare Pro to make more sales and laugh all the way to the bank.
