REMEMBER: Did you know that to achieve ’success’ it is highly probable that the person attempting that goal will fail not once, but often many times before they finally get that brass ring?
It is said that Colonel Sanders had his secret recipe turned down so many times (some claim hundreds if not thousands) that most other people would have just given up on his goal.
In baseball a really good player may become a candidate for the Hall of fame if the player fails 40%-60% of the time at bat.
And in timeshare sales the big money earners working the tables will lose 60% – 70% of the time, too (give or take), but what makes them stand out from the ‘herd’ is that they know they can’t sell everyone all the time (for whatever reason) and that’s okay.
When they fail to close the deal they also don’t take it personally because they know that they did the very best they could do with the sales guest. They took no short cuts and if the outcome was a ‘no-sale’ they learn from the experience and move on to the next prospect!
Lastly, they don’t accept a ‘no-sale’ as being rejected either, which is why they all walk tall at all times, move on to the next table looking to knock it out of the park and when they do, rest assured they are laughing all the way to the bank!
