DENVER, CO (August 14, 2012) — Premiere, members-only vacation club Inspirato announced today the launch of Inspirato for Business, a new corporate membership program designed for companies that want to provide their executives, employees and customers the exclusive travel privileges and benefits of an Inspirato membership. Through Inspirato for Business, companies can now purchase multiple individual Inspirato memberships for their most valued employees as well as one-time guest passes to reward strong employee performance and customer and partner loyalty.
Launched in January 2011, Inspirato is a private members-only vacation club that provides members exclusive access to an ever-growing portfolio of multimillion-dollar vacation homes, luxury hotels and one-of-a-kind adventure travel experiences, coupled with five-star services such as a personal vacation adviser and onsite concierges. Through Inspirato for Business, lucky employees and customers can now enjoy those same privileges.
“As an entrepreneur and private business owner, I know firsthand how important it is to attract and retain talented, dedicated employees,” said Brent Handler, founder and CEO of Inspirato. “Inspirato for Business is a great tool for businesses to differentiate themselves from their competitors and incentivize and reward their most dedicated executives, employees, partners and clients.”
Inspirato for Business memberships also include Inspirato’s business event planning services. Inspirato event planners will work with corporate members to design events ranging from intimate dinners to elaborate corporate retreats.
Even in the face of challenging economic conditions, American workers have indicated they value vacation and time away from the office, even over other employee benefits. According to a recent survey conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Inspirato, half of all workers who receive paid vacation time would be willing to sacrifice another workplace benefit, including a private office, a bonus or promotion – even a raise – in exchange for more paid time off.
A 2010 Expedia survey reported by ABC News found that 45 percent of Americans agreed that “they come back to work feeling rested, rejuvenated, and reconnected to their personal life” after vacation, and 35 percent said “they return from vacation feeling better about their job and feeling more productive.”
“There’s no doubt that vacations are critical to workplace productivity and long-term employee satisfaction,” said Handler. “But, as we all know, vacation planning itself can be stressful and time consuming. Through Inspirato for Business, employers can eliminate the barriers that discourage people from taking a vacation and ensure their top employees get that much-needed break.”
