September 14, 2012 — If hiring top timeshare Executives and/or sales/marketing personnel is an objective or if your company has a product or service to introduce to the timeshare industry then the following information will be incredibly important for both timeshare developers and ancillary businesses the world over in our once again vibrant and highly competitive industry.
So here’s the scoop. What do ABC (American Broadcast Company), NBC (National Broadcast Company), AOL as well as Disney, Marriott, eBay, TUG (Timeshare Users Group), Westin, Red Week and many other brand named companies have in common with the Internet that is also a crystal clear indicator that most other businesses in our industry may be missing out on opportunities every single day?
The answer may surprise most readers, but for years now the aforementioned companies have and/or continue to pay the most popular search engines on the Internet– including but not limited to Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.– for advertising positions on their front (landing) page results when people use the simple search term: Timeshare News!
The key-word aspect and very important front page positioning on the search engines is constantly changing and costs more than a few pennies but the reality is, as we all know, this is the ‘information era’ and just about everyone in the ‘Iniverse’ (my new word) is seeking all sorts of information 24/7/365. And that includes people interested in Timeshare News.
So what’s the big deal and who cares anyway? In this case absence does not “make the heart grow fonder” and people seeking timeshare news and information about companies, career positions, products or services will definitely love the one they’re with; and if they can’t locate your company you can rest assured they will be meeting with a competitor.
Should that makes sense then allow me to make a suggestion.
