NAPLES, FL (December 19, 2012) — Jeanette Dera has recently joined the design team at Clive Daniel Home (www.clivedaniel.com), the upscale home furnishings retailer in Naples, Florida. She also is an Interior Design Instructor for the Institute of Interior Design at Southwest Florida College.
The newest addition to the Clive Daniel Home design team obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and is currently working on her Master of Arts in Design Management and Multi-Media from Miami International University of Art & Design.
She is committed to the use of sustainable materials to engage in the “green” movement of recycle, reduce and reuse whenever possible and personally enjoys repurposing furniture and restoring vintage finds.
Born and raised in Naples, Florida, of Haitian parents, she is one of twelve siblings. Dera volunteers at her church as a youth mentor for young women and with the Department of Elections as a primary translator for the Haitian-Creole speaking community. Dera dedicates time to Habitat for Humanity International where she learned to build homes from sustainable materials.
Added Bonnie Kern, Clive Daniel Home General Manager, “Jeanette is a delightful addition to our staff. Her total knowledge of interior design from an Instructor’s perspective – as well as her expertise in the use of sustainable materials and finishes – has made her a ‘go-to’ person for many customers and staff members.”
