March 1, 2013 — It’s that time of year when thousands from around the timeshare universe (including ‘Inside The Gate’) will soon be loadin’ up, movin’ out and rollin’ down the trail leading up to the week of April 7-11th in Hollywood, Florida for this year’s “ARDA World-The Global Timeshare Event 2013” hosted at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa.
So here’s the scoop: “7-11”? OMG! – Could that be a lucky omen for a select few? Maybe so! I’ve attended many annual ARDA conventions over the years and the gathering is a great networking opportunity if the situation arises to meet & chat with many of the ‘players’ in our industry.
Of course time is (always) of the essence during the conference as there are only a few brief days to achieve that objective. Plus the competition to have those critically important ‘one-on-one’ meetings is extremely limited as most developers, executive management, etc. have a full-plate and before convention-goers know it ‘Show Time’ is over and everyone is heading back home.
Then there are all those companies that have no opportunity for a meeting at all or won’t be attending this year because many are still very conscientious about their budgets as they continue feeling the ‘sting’ while they recover from the devastating worldwide financial chaos that began not so long ago.
However, one way to circumvent it all and take advantage of both time and money would be for businesses seeking to showcase their products and services to this highly sought after niche market to do so right here ‘Inside The Gate’ and ‘promote’ to our monthly verified audience of approximately 35,000 industry-related readers!
And a great starting point would be by submitting company press releases to us prior to the start of ARDA this year. We will, as always, publish those PR’s so the submitting companies can get the exposure they might need before the convention, which could also stimulate some phone calls, e-mails or texted inquiries, too!
This is even true for those businesses who’ll spend tens of thousands of dollars (and more) this year traveling to Florida to set up their displays in order to feature their products and services in the Exhibit area. But be advised, because if I understand the ARDA 2013 schedule correctly, ‘show & tell’ time will only be open for about 8 hours (total).
Showcasing each year at ARDA or just attending is great for all businesses but there is nothing more productive and cost effective than to be in front this highly desired niche market 24/7; you know, all year long!
And that can be accomplished right here ‘Inside The Gate’ (and our very popular ‘GateHouse’ Blog section) while our daily industry audience reads breaking timeshare news stories, PR’s, specialized industry columns, editorials, opinions, comments, etc.
So be a shining ARDA Star this year by sending in those PR’s before the convention begins and then do so throughout the rest of 2013.
