July 5, 2013 — According to the MPA – The Association of Magazine Media – nearly 75% of all readers of electronic magazines like ‘Inside The Gate’ spend more than one hour each week pouring over the information/content. And of course, content has always been KING – and reports indicate that online magazine advertising is one of the most cost effective, productive and tractable forms of advertising in the digital era.
So here’s the Scoop: But the real show stopper these days – the one that captivates all audiences across all demographics – drum roll please – is Online Video presentations – you know, as in marketing and sales advertisements of all products, all services & all career opportunities etc.!
Most of us would likely agree with the adage that a “picture is worth a thousand words” – or – “every picture tells a story”. And that being true then surely a concise, to the point informative but entertaining upbeat and perfectly produced video presentation will do wonders – often beyond the imagination – if targeted to the applicable market.
And get this little tidbit. In-depth studies also indicate that nearly 100 MILLION Americans will watch over 1 BILLION Videos online – TODAY – with the number of viewers doubling within the next 36 MONTHS and nearly 50% will be watching those Video’s on hand held devices!
If you still doubt the value and use of Video presentations then also consider that the most watched Video (to date) was from a relatively unknown South Korean entertainer known as PSY.
His short 4-minute “Gangnam Style” video was viewed by an audience exceeding 1.5 BILLION people – from all age groups and all cultures around the world – beating out the likes of the very well known and highly publicized/promoted Justin Bieber (and other famous ‘Stars’) by nearly twice the audience size!
So let’s see what we have. Online (‘Digital’) Magazines are becoming more popular with each passing month – and advertisements in those online periodicals are exploding and producing real time – cost effect results – sales – for the advertisers!
Added to the mix is the Video presentation revolution. People want them, are watching them and, like TV, when they see what they like they become ‘glued’ to their screens.
Hmmm, I wonder what could be done with that information if you were, say, a timeshare developer looking to hire the best talent in the industry or if you owned an ancillary company and wanted to sell your ‘wares’ – worldwide – to the deciders in the ‘biz’ – and especially, in either case, if you had an audience already established?
Well a couple ideas immediately come to mind but it’s all above my pay-grade!
Say, did I mention we now offer 1st class full in-house Video production capabilities and that we passed yet another ‘readership’ (aka: viewer) milestone in June 2013 – now, with over 41,000 monthly readers (aka: viewers)?
And that, as verified by AWStats Analytics – an independent third party tracking service – our monthly audience is larger than all attendees to all the ARDA conventions held each year including the Annual ARDA-Fest – and that our viewership is also much larger than our ‘digital’ competitors in ‘the biz’ – combined?
