CHARLESTON, N.C. (Nov. 20, 2013) — Festiva Hospitality Group offers its members outstanding accommodations at premier locations around the United States and the Caribbean. This luxury vacation provider has resorts in North Carolina, Florida, St. Maarten and more. In addition to providing the best deals at the most sought-after locations, this outstanding group also deeply believes in giving back to the communities where its resorts are located.
The Festiva Charitable Fund was founded nearly six years ago in order to support various nonprofit organizations in the communities where Festiva’s properties are located. Some of the many efforts of this fund are focused on child education, the elimination of poverty, natural disaster relief and more.
Festiva Hospitality Group makes many donations to charitable organizations, and its employees donate their time as well. Festiva employees have donated time to both the United Way and Habitat for Humanity. These outstanding national organizations provide housing, food and more for those in need.
Each year, Festiva Hospitality Group hosts its annual Christmas auction that raises money for the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministries (ABCCM) to sponsor local families who are in need during the holiday season. Over the past nine years, Festiva has raised over $100,000 for ABCCM.
Last year, Festiva employees raised $12,000 during the first annual Ellington Charitable Christmas auction, which was used to help support a local Boy’s Home. The funds raised were used to purchase personal supplies, new washers and dryers for the Home, and to buy Christmas gifts for 13 boys. The rest of the donations were put towards the operational costs of running the Home.
Festiva Hospitality Group sponsors several worthy organizations as well. Festiva is an annual sponsor of Brother Wolf, which is the largest non-profit and no-kill shelter in the southeastern United States. Festiva has donated multiple vacation weeks in order for the organization to raise money through different charity auctions that it coordinates, as well as donating money to sponsor a kennel that Brother Wolf operates.
Festiva Hospitality Group also sponsors the Lake Eden Arts Festival, which is a local non-profit organization that sponsors education programs for children both locally and internationally. These programs are designed to promote art and music education as well as culture and a sense of community.
Festiva Hospitality Group is proud to be able to contribute to so many worthy causes and continues to aid those in need.
