(Dec. 19, 2013) — RCI took home six Pearl Awards from the Custom Content Council for its Endless Vacation® magazine for RCI subscribing members and its affiliate news source, RCI Ventures® magazine. The Pearl Awards recognize best-in-class custom media, and are presented by the Custom Content Council each year. This year marked the 10th annual awards ceremony, which was held in the Highline Ballroom in New York City. Custom content creators and agencies from 13 different countries were present to celebrate the best work among the nearly 600 entries submitted this year.
RCI’s Endless Vacation magazine was recognized in the categories of: Best Feature Article/Package (Silver); Best Regular Department (Bronze); Best Distribution Strategy (Bronze); and Best Tablet Content (Bronze). RCI publishes Endless Vacation magazine for its members, featuring destination content, travel tips, resort suggestions and other travel related stories. With a circulation of nearly 2 million consumers, this publication is among the most-read travel magazines in the world. The magazine is printed seasonally, and content is updated regularly online as well as for the iPad version of the magazine.
RCI Ventures magazine was also recognized in the Most Improved Publication for Editorial (Gold) and Most Improved Publication for Design – B2B (Silver) categories. This publication was created for RCI’s affiliated resort developers, and features the most timely and relevant industry news.
