Three Thousand Attendees Will Discover “Next Gen”
WASHINGTON, (February 27, 2014) — This year’s ARDA World Convention and Exposition will be focused on “Next Gen”: the next generation of products, customers, business models, and distribution sources. The annual convention will be held April 6-10, 2014 at the Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This international event expects to attract 3,000 attendees that will learn about and share best practices and ideas to continue to grow the timeshare industry. It will feature an impressive line-up of speakers and entertainers, including keynote speaker Scott Klososky, a thought leader that specializes in helping other industry leaders see the world in new ways.

Key highlights of this year’s ARDA World include the 13th Annual AIF Open Golf Tournament at the award winning championship golf course at TPC Las Vegas. To help kick off evening festivities, ICE is sponsoring the ICE Breaker Party on the first full day of the convention. Interval International is hosting its annual “Party with a Cause,” where all ticket proceeds benefit the ARDA International Foundation, supporting and promoting the industry with research, education, and outreach.
The last night of ARDA World will feature the ARDA Awards Gala, which includes an elegant dinner, presentation of the annual ARDA Awards, and live entertainment by comedian Elon Gold, sponsored by HSI. Thursday morning’s Breakfast of Champions features keynote speaker Michael Durant—master pilot, best-selling author, and inspiration for the movie Black Hawk Down.
Besides the robust line up of educational sessions (underwritten by Capital One), including a number of “next gen”-focused sessions, ARDA is showcasing their embrace of “next gen” by eliminating a printed Convention guide for the first time. The ARDA World mobile app, to be released in the third week of March, will have all of the information that attendees need in the palm of their hands. In addition, a tabbed on-site guide will be available in the April/May issue of Developments magazine, distributed at ARDA World.
