Keith Trowbridge has always been instrumental in moving the timeshare/vacation ownership/fractional industry forward. Known as the “father of timeshare” in North America with the development of the first purpose-built timeshare resort in the United States in 1974, Trowbridge retired after 22 years in timeshare development but gradually slipped into the executive headhunting business for the industry, now with clients worldwide. Trowbridge has served as president of the Resort Timesharing Council, a forerunner to ARDA.
