all is a lovely time to plan a getaway, and vacation packages at Smugglers’ Notch Resort focus on popular activities so that travelers can easily combine lodging and fun. Smugglers’ fall packages are offered September 2 to October 13, 2014.
New highlights include:
Launched for Fall 2013, the Vermont Autumn Walking Experience combines guided walking with an array of unique and fun-filled classes that engage the senses and promote holistic healthy living. From a ramble down a country road to an energetic session of cardio-drumming, this program offers a variety of interesting experiences that will immerse participants in the vibrancy of Vermont’s legendary foliage season.
A new Mountain Biking vacation package includes use of 20 kilometers of on-site double track and single track mountain bike trails. Guests on the package also receive daily 1.5-hour learn-to clinics with rental bike and helmet, and daily 3-hour group rides with both on-site and off-site excursions. A discounted equipment rental rate applies to this package: $25 per person per day, including helmet.
A new tour of Vermont craft breweries Rock Art, Lost Nation and Trapp plus a stop for lunch joins other day trips offered at Smugglers’. Returning day trip favorites include visits to Montreal, to scenic Vermont attractions, and to Vermont’s delicious specialty food producers.
Each of the above packages feature AutumnFest inclusions. AutumnFest is Smugglers’ core package for Fall, and includes mountainside condominium lodging and use of Resort amenities such as the pools and hot tubs, mini golf, 9-hole disc golf course, the indoor FunZone family entertainment center, playgrounds, skate park, tennis courts, basketball and shuffleboard.
