Panama City, Panama (Oct. 13, 2014) — RCI®, the worldwide leader in vacation exchange, will be hosting an important event in support of its continued efforts to strengthen and develop the vacation ownership industry and tourism oriented real estate in Latin America. LASOS, the Latin American Shared Ownership Summit 2014, will be held on Oct. 22-23.
RCI chose Panama City for this year’s event due to the great activity, focus and extraordinary tourism opportunities that this destination offers. LASOS 2014 will bring together some of the most significant figures in the Latin American Tourism Industry at the Megapolis Convention Center, including government authorities, entrepreneurs, investors, developers and new leaders from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, United States and, of course, Panama, who seek to share experiences in the tourism industry in order to capitalize on business opportunities in the region.
LASOS 2014 will be a dynamic and cutting-edge two-day event. With “Innovation” as the central theme, it will offer a series of keynote speeches, discussion panels, and workshops that will provide first-hand knowledge on how to break away from the most significant paradigms that persist in our strategic and operative actions, as well as the latest trends, perspectives, ideas, and recommendations focused on supporting the growth of the Tourism Oriented Real Estate Industry.
Participants in this significant event will also have the opportunity to hear the perspectives of important figures including: Adrián Peregrino, director of Spotify Mexico; Geoff Richards, chief operations officer of Wyndham Vacation Ownership; Ednilton Soarez, president of Beach Park; Kemil Rizk, president and CEO of Royal Resorts; Doménico D´Alfonso, president of Consortium Lake Plaza; Rafael Blanco, executive vice president of VIVA Vacation Club; and several other important leaders in the tourism industry.
