At Anantara Vacation Club Phuket Mai Khao, Chef will create a special Chinese New Year themed buffet dinner on 18, February 2015. The festive evening will comprise a traditional lion dance performance and offer a seasonal specialty cocktail, the Mandarin Mojito. The delectable menu, offered at THB888++ per person, will feature BBQ Whole Crispy Roasted Pork (Moo Hun), Peking Duck with Condiments and Dark Soy Sauce (Phed Yang), Sea Food Stir Fried Sapam Noodle (Phad Mee Sapam Talay), and Kale and Bok Choy in Oyster and Chinese Rice Wine Sauce (Kana Nham Daeng). An Iced Gingko Nuts station (Tau Tung Yen) will delight guests with flavors like dried jujube in syrup, red bean jelly, sun dried pomelo, yellow bean, and barley. Other desserts will include Khanom Kheng, Khanom Tien, black sesame dumplings, Khanom Pea, and mixed fresh fruits.
Guests visiting Anantara Vacation Club Bali Seminyak over the Chinese New Year will also be treated to a celebratory holiday dinner. The menu, running USD $40 per person, will consist of savory appetizers including Chicken Dim Sum and Peking Duck Rolled in Rice Paper, and hearty and delicious main courses of Pork Ribs with Stir Fry Chay Sin as well as Spicy Crab. Side dishes and condiments will complement the flavors, such Steamed Rice, Stir Fried Broccoli, Stir Fried Bok Choy, and Prawn Crackers. A seasonal fresh fruit platter will be served for dessert.
Further enhancing the holiday experience, guests of both properties will have the opportunity to participate in a “lucky draw” upon check-in during the week of the Chinese New Year. Custom fortune cookies will contain a variety of exciting prizes including a bottles of wine; dinner vouchers; complimentary drinks or pizza; a beach bag; free shuttle bus to town; local souvenir; tour voucher; and sheep-shaped chocolate for kids or turn-down service.
