If you’re ever lucky enough to find yourself in the city of Hamburg, Germany you must make the time to visit Miniatur Wunderland, the largest model railway in the world. On the 1.300 m² large layout, far more than a thousand trains, aircrafts, cars and ships move about. There are fire trucks putting out fires, police cars making traffic stops, a space shuttle taking off — details all the way down to a van rhythmically shaking as, er, a potential new life is being made inside. The whole system is controlled from a massive high-tech nerve centre.
You’ve never seen anything like it, and they’re not even finished yet. Take a look at the official video and put Miniatur Wunderland on your bucket list!
