LAS VEGAS, NV (November 4, 2015) — Aruba Development Corp. VBA, a subsidiary of Tropicana Aruba Resort and Casino, has chosen Interval International to serve as its exclusive vacation exchange and benefit provider in timeshare sales.
Located in sunny tropical waters just 30 miles from Caracas, Venezuela, Aruba is famous for its gold mines, divi divi trees, white sand beaches and casino resorts. Aruba Development Corp. is a publicly traded gaming industry leader that is now part of the timeshare industry.
Anthony P. Rodio, president of Aruba Development, released the information that his company is embarking on a multi-million dollar expansion program to transform the property infrastructure, benefits and guestroom renovations.
In making the announcement, Rodio noted that Interval is a highly respected name in the timeshare industry and that it offers state-of-the-art sales technology along with value-added services.
Interval President David Gilbert said the Tropicana is a well regarded name in timeshare. He also noted that Aruba has long been one of the most demanded vacation destinations in the Caribbean.
The Tropicana Resort is located just a few miles from Oranjstad, the island capital. The resort has two restaurants, a casino, a multi-level pool with a 150-foot water slide, children’s pool, full service spa, and a fitness center. It also provides guests with 362 one, two and three-bedroom suites along with snorkeling, kayaking, and horseback riding.
Aruba, a Dutch island, is known for its near perfect weather and tropical vegetation. One of the island’s attractions is Arikok National Park which takes up nearly 20 percent of the land mass.
Tropicana Entertainment is headquartered in Las Vegas. The growing company through its subsidiaries owns and operates eight casinos and resorts in Indiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey and Aruba. The properties offer 5,525 rooms. 8,035 slot machines and 304 table games.
