BEND, OR (January 18, 2016) — Just as Bend, Oregon has become one of the hottest wedding destinations in the state, Tetherow Resort continues its transformation into a dream wedding location with the addition of a new year-round wedding pavilion. From its sweeping mountain views to the new swimming pool, wine bar and a variety of new lodging options, everyone from the bridal party to out of town guests will find amenities and accommodations to suit them. These developments are scheduled for completion by Summer 2016.
The new wedding pavilion will boast retractable floor-to-ceiling glass doors to take full advantage of natural light and the spectacular views. With 3,100 s.f. of versatile event space, the pavilion will offer a variety of room sizes. Upon completion, Tetherow will be ideal for larger events up to 350 people in a social setting, and up to 200 people for more intimate weddings, receptions and celebrations.
Tetherow’s wedding, events and catering teams bring creative brilliance and the perfect blend of sophistication, elegance and fun to match the personality of each bride and groom. Tetherow’s catering team is lead by Executive Chef Zac Hoffman and Banquet Chef Miguel Mendoza, who are distinguished for bringing a delicious twist to every dish they create. Far from a typical banquet menu, the cuisine combines Northwest favorites from Tetherow’s two renowned restaurants with a flare of bright flavors and fresh ingredients.
The resort’s growing, all-inclusive wedding experience includes the addition of a pool and fitness center in the heart of the resort. The new facility will also feature cabanas, water features, hot tubs, fire pits, and a café and wine bar to provide a luxurious way for guests to retreat to total relaxation. The resort also offers two on-site restaurants that create phenomenal food, an on-site eco-friendly luxury hotel and new vacation homes located adjacent to the wedding pavilion and recreation center.
Many couples come for the wedding and stay for the honeymoon. Bordering the national forest and only minutes to downtown Bend, Tetherow offers endless options for outdoor enthusiasts or those just looking to relax and take in the spectacular views. Bend has been named as one of the best places in the world to live, retire, mountain bike, ski, golf and hike, not to mention everything Bend has to offer.
“Your wedding is one of the biggest days of your life. We’re proud so many couples choose Tetherow and are thrilled to expand upon our full-service resort experience,” says Chris van der Velde, Co-owner of Tetherow Resort. “The new wedding and event space, with its outrageous mountain views, make Tetherow the ultimate wedding destination in Bend,” added van der Velde.
