HELSINKI, Finland (February 18, 2016) — A Well-known spa hotel Holiday Club Caribia in Turku is under large renovations and will soon return in its full glory offering outstanding pampering experiences in tropical spa environment. The Caribia’s new service platter includes two new restaurants and an indoor activity playground SuperPark that opens for Easter. The overall costs for investments will be around 20 million euros.
Spa and conference hotel Caribia, located in the immediate vicinity of Turku city centre, got under large renovations in last autumn and is now planning to return as number one holiday resort for visitors of Turku area.

New villas to enlarge option range for accommodation
The renovation work will give a new sparkling look to all 175 hotel rooms, 26 of them already being finalised. The renovation will focus in pleasantness, comfort and good materials. Some of the rooms are designed to be lock off rooms that can be easily connected via shared door, which can be ideal to both families and groups of friends. The renovation work that will cost around 3,5 million euros will be completed till the end of 2016. The work is conducted in a way that will not cause inconvenience for the guests of the hotel.
Holiday Club will also introduce a brand new holiday and accommodation concept, Holiday Villas in Caribia resort. The plan includes 57 high quality leisure Villas built for the resort. One or two bedroom apartments, sized between 39–67 m2, can be either used by their owners or their families or, when they are away, rented to serve clients of Holiday Club. This grants all Holiday Club clients with an opportunity to enjoy spacious and luxurious villa holiday during their stay. The building work will start in 2016.
Swimming all day makes everyone hungry
Holiday Club has a good history in working in collaboration with two successful restaurants chains, Classic Pizza and O´Learys. Therefore Mr. Valtola is happy to announce that the chains are now added into Caribia restaurant offering.
Finnish restaurant chain Classic Pizza, opened at Caribia on 10.2. is known for their ambitious artisan-like intake in creating a most delicious Italian pizza treats. The restaurant has a good offering on quality wines and you can also treat yourself with a nice glass of champagne as aperitif.
The other new restaurant O´Learys will celebrate their opening on 19.2. The cozy restaurant appeals to both families and sport enthuastics to whom the restaurant offers a good number of screens to watch the game. The restaurant invites you to enjoy a delicious American grill food that leaves no one hungry after a fun day spent in the water.
SuperPark opens for Easter
Indoor activity park SuperPark opens in the old premises of Radio city Arena for Easter. SuperPark consists of 2 600 m2 playground divided in three sections: for kids there is a special adventure area. Those who want to test new and exciting sports find their place at the Game Area. Freestyle Hall as a third, calls for skaters and adrenaline freaks like the ones who are willing to challenge themselves jumping in the world’s most powerful trampoline, and more. The investment of SuperPark is about 1,3 million euros.
