Franz Hanning, who now serves as president and chief executive officer at WVO, has a legacy of leadership in Williamsburg. In 1991, Hanning was promoted to general manager of the Fairfield Williamsburg sales and marketing offices located directly across from Kingsgate, and under his direction, Kingsgate broke annual company sales records. In addition, Kingsgate is where WVO launched its first points-based product, which transformed the timeshare industry and propelled WVO to become one of the world’s leading vacation companies.
