DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (Sept. 15, 2017)
he Caribbean islands of Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia and Palm Island in the Grenadines are open for business, and normal tourism activities have resumed. The airports that service these islands have returned to normal operations and are accepting flights from all gateways.
The Caribbean island of Antigua was largely unscathed by Hurricane Irma, and many other islands, like St. Lucia, Barbados, and Palm Island in the Grenadines were not affected at all by the storm. Better yet, there are some amazing deals now available for Fall and Winter travel!
In Antigua, St. James’s Club & Villas and Pineapple Beach Club Antigua are fully open, looking great, and accepting new arrivals daily. Likewise, The Verandah Resort & Spa, which briefly closed in August for refurbishments, will re-open as originally scheduled on October 14, 2017.
St. James’s Club Morgan Bay in Saint Lucia, The Club, Barbados Resort & Spa and Palm Island Resort & Spa in the Grenadines are all open and operating as usual, and were totally unaffected by Hurricane Irma.
There is still availability for Fall and Winter bookings, and guests are encouraged to book early to take advantage of a variety of special offers!
For example, between now and Spring 2018, Elite Island Resorts is offering a special “Fifth Night FREE” offer if you book by October 31st. This promotion is available for new U.S. bookings, and travel must be completed by April 6, 2018. Visit http://www.eliteislandresorts.com/freenight/ for full details.
This October, The Verandah Resort & Spa is celebrating its 10th anniversary as one of the Caribbean’s most popular family-style All-Inclusive resorts. To commemorate this milestone, The Verandah is offering a special “Stay for 7 Nights, Pay for 5″ promotion. When travelers book a stay of seven or more nights, they will get TWO nights FREE.
