REMEMBER: One of the biggest problems sales reps have when presenting a vacation ownership plan is they make it almost sound to good to be true and when that happens doubts are created in the prospect’s mind that may never come out unless that rep bruises the plan just a wee bit!
One great way to accomplish this, for instance, is to let each guest know that although the system is designed to make reservations a ‘snap’ (toll free/online, etc.), in the real world, some days they might get a hold of a reservation agent who is having, well, a bad day.
Pointing out a small flaw such as this adds credibility to the presentation, as it is something that every sales guest (indeed all of us) can relate to because we do live in an era of some indifference. By you letting your prospect know what they already know you’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.
