REMEMBER: A sure fire way a prospect can tell if their rep is steaming with knowledge and confidence is not so much the amount of content (info) the well intending rep shares but, as we’ve discussed previously, the rep’s ability to listen and absorb what a sales guest is sharing with their rep.
To put it another way, Helen Gurley Brown (Author, Publisher, Businesswoman and 32 years as editor-in-chief of “Cosmopolitan”) once suggested: “Never fail to know that if you are doing all the talking you are boring somebody”.In sales that advice must be one of those ‘golden-rules’ adhered to at all times with each prospect.
It is the fully knowledgeable and confident rep who allows each prospect to speak their piece because at the end of the day that ‘info’ is just more ammo the savvy TS Pro will incorporate to close more deals and laugh all the way to the bank!
