REMEMBER: One quote (of many) attributed to Zig Ziglar is a good reminder for every TS rep, and that is at some point you need to “Stop selling” and “Start helping”!
On that note, Bob Burg recommends that we, “Internalize the Golden Rule of sales that says, ‘All things being equal, people will do business with, and refer business to, those people they know, like and trust.’ “
And William James teaches that sales people should “Seek out that particular mental attribute which makes you feel most deeply and vitally alive, along with which comes the inner voice which says, ‘This is the real me’, and when you have found that attitude, follow it.”
Being at the top of the TS sales field really isn’t as complicated as others seem to want to make it. Along with product knowledge, if you have a healthy attitude and a willingness to always learn, listen to your prospects, improve your skills, etc. you’ll be among the few savvy TS Pros who laugh all the way to the bank.
