Get your day off to the right start with your own MORNING MEETING. A Sales Tip of the Day and a daily blast of music for your enjoyment! Published Monday thru Friday.
REMEMBER: Once the A.M. meeting has been adjourned and before the ‘tours’ begin to arrive (including in-between ‘tour-flow’), and after the day is over and stops are made at the favorite watering hole, TS reps often break off into little groups of like-thinking reps.
There is nothing wrong with that but if a particular crew is sitting around and often ‘negging’ one another about prospect qualifications, the developer, management, one or more liners, closers, premiums, a podium speaker, the receptionist, marketing or whatever, then rest assured those ‘chats’ will affect individual sales performance (attitudes). These ‘crews’ should be avoided like the plague!
Be friendly with everyone, of course, but the best advice is to stay as far away as possible from those folks because those couple hours each day spent ‘chatting’ or lightly discussing ‘negs’ can also have a profound affect on career aspirations as well.
It is indeed the savvy TS Pro who chooses to sit on the sidelines and instead read the local newspaper or something who’ll keep their mind clear of negative ‘thoughts’. And by doing so on a daily basis and remaining focused on the task at hand (aka: make a sale) they will laugh all the way to the bank.
