Fort Lauderdale, FL (March 16, 2011) – Brand Tango, a Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based marketing, technology and design firm, has won nine ADDY Awards in the Advertising Federation of Greater Fort Lauderdale competition. The awards qualify the firm to move forward toward a national ADDY from the American Advertising Federation. With more than 50,000 entries annually, the ADDY Awards are the world’s largest advertising competition and arguably one of the toughest, with three tiers of competition. In 2009, Brand Tango won a national Gold ADDY.
“I think these projects demonstrate our firm’s ability to make the most of our client’s budgets,” says Joe Russoniello, Brand Tango’s president and co-founder. “It’s a thrill to have this work recognized by our peers, but right now I’m most excited about the great projects we’re working on today.”
Brand Tango’s work for clients Hacienda Tres Rios Resort, G Resorts, Casa D’Angelo Restaurant, Absolute World Group, Live Mexico, Mycomingle.com and FastKit all received ADDY honors. “We’re grateful to these companies for entrusting us with their brand and image,” says James Kluetz, vice president and creative director. “In these challenging times, we know that what matters is return on investment, and these projects delivered.” In addition to client awards, the firm’s own stationary package won a Gold Award.
This recognition comes as Brand Tango heads into the American Resort Development Association’s awards gala in Orlando on March 30, where it is a finalist for Eight Gold ARDYs. On another front, Brand Tango is moving its offices to The Collide Factory, a creative co-working space run by the president of the local Advertising Federation. The former ammunition factory in Ft. Lauderdale’s downtown, built in the 1940s, has attracted tenants including animators, web designers, editors and sound engineers. “This collaboration of talent and skills will allow Brand Tango to execute online content for our clients with a quality and flair that’s commensurate with our print work,” Kluetz says. He and co-creative Director Kim Grijalva are installing a functioning 1930s letterpress on which they will print luxury invitations and projects using this lost technique.
