REMEMBER: Although everyone working in the timeshare industry (developers, admin, marketing etc.) collectively contributes to the success of ‘the biz’, the ones who make it all happen are those on the front lines and in the trenches who ‘splain the product/service and system, close the deals, extract the down payments, get consumers to sign for the ‘monthlies’ (or cash out) and commit to years of obligations!
Timeshare sales reps are the best of the best and there are truly few ‘sales’ people (I use that term loosely) in the world who can sit down at a little round table with a total stranger and within hours accomplish what TS Pros do day in and day out.
In fact, what timeshare Pros accomplished is almost ‘Greek’ and/or abstract thinking to other legitimate sales organizations outside the timeshare business. And in ‘the biz’ even some developers don’t get it that the Crème de la Crème of timeshare sales professionals are the super glue that holds an entire worldwide industry together.
Be proud of who you are, of what you accomplish and your individual value and contribution to a multi-billion dollar global industry and always present yourself to each sales guest (and all others) not as some boisterous loud mouth know-it-all type but instead as the confident, knowledgeable self reliant timeshare professional you are– and laugh all the way to the bank.
