Harrisonburg, VA (March 21, 2012) — The C.A.R.E. (Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers) Board of Directors met for its annual 1st Quarter Board meeting at the Lagonita Lodge, Big Bear Lake, CA from January 26-29, 2012.
The C.A.R.E. Strategic Planning Committee with members Jeanette Bunn, Bonnie Kosco, Debbie Sansom, Dave Dawson, Jim Wehrle and Chairman Alain Carr met to update the 2012 plan. The committee reviewed the organization’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and devised an action plan for the coming year.
The entire Board met to review committee activities and projects and prepared for C.A.R.E.’s 54th Semi Annual Conference to be held from May 5 -8, 2012 at the Sirata Beach Resort & Conference Center in St. Pete Beach, Fl. Highlights of the meeting included improving ambassadorship, expanding marketing efforts, and going green by printing less and offering more accessibility to services online. Special attention was also made to keeping on schedule with the goals and objectives of each committee throughout the year.
