April 20, 2012 — On Wednesday, April 17, timeshare industry veteran Adam Lacerda, his wife Ashley and 14 other individuals were arrested by The New Jersey U.S. Attorney’s office on Federal charges. Within hours that breaking news was published by ‘Inside The Gate’ for the thousands who read our daily online news and information service.
Within 24 hours of that story being published I became curious and personally checked many other timeshare industry sources and forums that also provide timeshare news to see who else had published the breaking story about Lacerda. As of this writing none had any mention of the announcement by U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman regarding the arrests and allegations in a $2,400,000 mail fraud conspiracy involving timeshare mortgages.
Of course that was not the first time I’ve checked other online timeshare news entities to see if they are carrying important breaking stories in real-time, and for the life of me and for whatever reasons they just don’t seem all that interested in delivering timely information to their readers.
As it has turned out ‘Inside The Gate’ , a JAM Publishing, LLC enterprise, is the only reliable source for unbiased ‘daily’ breaking timeshare news stories, information, PR’s etc. that affect the global timeshare industry. And that also includes news items, tips, rumors, gossip, etc. included in our very popular ‘GateHouse’ timeshare blog as well.
‘The Gate’, as we are commonly called, has literally published and archived thousands of industry press releases, columns, opinions, news items, breaking stories, comments and editorials, etc. And, as is the case with the Adam Lacerda breaking news story, all content is easily and freely available for our readers to access.
At their leisure (24/7), and without the need to ‘register’, our audience can simply use our ‘Search’ feature to type in a person’s or company’s name, or the name of a product or service, etc. that interests them; and within a nano second they can retrieve that readily available content.
From humble beginnings in 2009 with our initial ‘daily’ edition we have grown over the past 3 years, keeping our worldwide audience informed regarding timeshare developer PR’s, current news stories, events, trends, timeshare projects, business partnerships and other pertinent data, content and information vital to them and our industry.
We put all the news in one place for easy access by anyone interested in the shared ownership industry, instead of having to search through multiple sources to find what they’re looking for.
Today, as verified by an independent third party monitoring service (AWStats Analytics) ‘The Gate’ is read by approximately 11,000 industry professionals (unique visitors) each month, generating 170,000 page views and consuming 7.1 GB of bandwidth (info)!
Our readership is comprised primarily of timeshare developers, their executive and senior level management, thousands of sales and marketing personnel (and management, too) from around the globe as well as ancillary businesses.
As a niche online timeshare magazine dedicated exclusively to the worldwide shared ownership industry ‘The Gate’ is the place to be (24/7) for those who want to monitor the competition or connect with and stay on top of our ever changing industry and the ‘players’ who make the timeshare world go around.
Additionally, unlike other timeshare news sources, our responsibility is to report content of value that affects both the people in our industry (including timeshare owners) as well as all businesses regardless if the content is of a positive or negative nature, such as the Adam Lacerda story this week.
‘The Gate’ is proud of the service provided as nearly 100% of the thousands of PR’s, articles and news stories etc. that have been published are of a positive nature and benefit and support the timeshare business community.
Of course if someone or some timeshare entity is not playing nice with ‘others’ we will verify that information, too, and you’ll find that ‘story’ and information right here in ‘The Gate’!
There can be no other way in the information era!
